Last year I graduated from GW with a major in Human Services and Social Justices, and minors in Communication and Sustainability. I have tutored middle schoolers, taught adults striving towards the GED, and home schooled elementary students the Northern Territory curriculum in the outback of Australia.

I cater my teaching methods depending on the student's needs. I use real-life applications to keep them focused and engaged, and I connect topics back to previous lessons and examples. I review lessons the next day, and go over areas where students are still confused. With my 6 year-old student, I focused on building confidence, and would review with creative lessons to keep him motivated.
