About Jason

I've taught for 18 years at public, private, and charter schools. I was a HS principal for 5 years but, ultimately, decided I love working with students 1:1 was more rewarding than leading a school.

B.A. Spanish - Trinity University
MA. Chinese - QingHua University (Beijing, China)
Ed.M. Learning & Teaching (Harvard Graduate School of Education)

More than anything I've done, I want to join forces and see you win!!!

About the lesson

I believe the best way for you to learn is by doing! My teaching style is highly interactive and my goal is for YOU to walk away from each lesson feeling confident, capable, and know that you learned!

A typical lesson:
- Warmup
- Connection concepts to the real-world
- "I do, we do, you do"
- DELIBERATE practice
- Key takeaways

Are you the ideal student?

Math: Middle/High School students who don't feel like they're "good at math".

Spanish: all ages who want to improve their Conversational Spanish so that they can actually USE the language
