About Rory
After I finished my studies for a Bachelor of Music with a focus in Classical Guitar Performance, I played in a large variety of groups playing popular styles and gained a lot of real-world musical experience in Celtic, classical, and American styles. I found so many people were interested in learning from me, that I decided I could quit my job and do music lessons full-time. After 15 years, it’s become a most fulfilling career. To help others hone their skills and find their passion, it’s really living the dream.

Rory is an excellent piano teacher! He meets you right where you are in terms of skill level and helps you grow at a comfortable pace. He’s incredibly knowledgeable about music theory and explains concepts in a way that really clicks. Highly recommend!
Rory has been a wonderful teacher for me for almost a year and I’m looking forward to continuing to work with him. He’s flexible, reliable and very knowledgeable. I feel fortunate to be able to work with him even though we’re on opposite coasts of the country!
