About Ashmitha
Good morning, Sir/Madam. My name is [Ashmitha.J]. I have completed my B.Sc. in Mathematics in 2019 and B.Ed. in Mathematics in 2021.
I have one year of teaching experience at St. Anthony’s Matriculation School, where I taught English, Science, and Mathematics for students from Classes 1 to 10.
As a teacher, my main goal is to understand every student’s learning ability and create a positive learning environment. First, I will assess the students’ existing knowledge through simple questions, activities, and basic assessments. Based on their level, I will plan my lessons and teaching methods.
For students who need more support, I will give individual attention and explain the concepts using simple examples and activities. For advanced students, I will provide challenging tasks to improve their skills.
My future plan is to continuously improve my teaching skills, learn new teaching methods and technology, and help my students develop not only academically but also in confidence, communication, and problem-solving skills.

My teaching process is student-centered. First, I understand each student’s learning level and identify where they need support. Then, I explain the concept in a simple and practical way using examples, activities, and visual aids.
I encourage students to ask questions and actively participate in the class. For students who find a topic difficult, I explain it again using a different method and give them additional practice.
I motivate my students by appreciating their efforts and creating a positive and friendly learning environment. I also regularly assess their understanding through questions, activities, and short tests.
My goal is not only to help students get good marks, but also to make them understand the concepts clearly and develop confidence in learning.
