About Xin
你好! G'day. I am Xin, and I also go by Chris. I was born in Chongqing and currently reside in Perth, Western Australia, pursuing my PhD in chemistry. I am a friendly, extrovert, and approachable person according to my friends and previous students. I can speak fluent English, Mandarin Chinese, and a little bit of Spanish as well. I am also a language enthusiast, so I've been learning Spanish myself recently. Love making friends, workouts, music, cooking and travelling.

I have 3+ years of Mandarin Chinese teaching experience.
Have been taught HSK, daily-life conversation, grammar, Chinese culture and history for 3+ years when I was in Shanghai and now in Australia.
Obtained a certificate in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language (TCSL), and a certificate as a Mandarin teacher from the International Mandarin Chinese Promotion Institute (IMCPI).
I'm good at delivering knowledge to students in an interesting way, such as through games, music, movies , stories and so on. And I'm also good at encouraging students to speak during the lesson as I believe a language is fundamentally a tool for communication. The more you speak, the better you'll get.
