Hello!
I am a fully qualified teacher, with an 1st Class undergraduate degree in English Literature and German, a PGCE, and am now completing my dissertation for my part-time MA in Transformational Leadership in Education.
I currently work as a class teacher and EYFS Lead in a primary school, but I have extensive experience tutoring GCSE and ALevel, as well as KS1/2 SATS. Whilst living in Germany, I taught English as an Additional Language in a Secondary School, as well as to many adult students privately. I also have a TEFL qualification.
My personal pedagogical interest is in Early Childhood Development, and I am an Early Years Specialist teacher. As an NQT, I won Kent Teacher of the Year.
In my spare time, I love to run! I completed London Marathon in 2016, and am due to run Brighton Marathon in 2018. I also enjoy going to the theatre, writing, and renovating my Victorian house.
I am a reliable, fun-loving and motivated teacher, completely dedicated to helping pupils and students get the outcomes they want from their education. I will always go the extra mile and endeavour to make the journey as happy and enjoyable as possible!
