About Carolina
I'm a determined, curious, and patient person. I've always loved sports since I was little, when I enrolled in my first dance school at the age of 13. Since then, I've studied dance professionally, enriching my CV with training programs, workshops, and internships. What drove me to teach is the desire to share and pass on what I've learned and to learn new things from my students. Because I believe that each of us has something to offer.

My goal is to teach modern and contemporary dance classes with a particular focus on improvisation, which I consider a fundamental aspect for fostering creativity and freedom of expression, in addition to the technique each discipline offers. Classes begin with a short warm-up, where the goal is to activate awareness and fluidity in movement. After the warm-up, we focus on floor work, the use of weight, movement dynamics, and contact. Once participants feel comfortable, we move on to the improvisation portion. A theme or concept is introduced, where students are invited to freely explore movement. The class concludes with a moment of reflection and sharing. Finally, a cool-down is performed to bring the body back to a state of calm, followed by a short meditation or breathing exercise to integrate the class experience.
