About Saranya
I'm a current MSci Maths student at UCL, which is ranked 10th globally by the QS World Rankings. I also received offers from several Russell Group Universities: Durham, Manchester and Bristol. I assisted many of my peers in writing their personal statements, all of whom went on to go to outstanding universities to study a variety of subjects: Medicine, History, Psychology etc. I achieved a 9 in both English Language and English Literature at GCSE, so I am confident in my writing and comprehension abilities. I feel passionate about students entering higher education, so I want to share my skills and experience to help them do so.

Happy to help at any stage of writing your personal statement! What can I do to help? - Provide a clear structure to use - Come up with topics and experiences to discuss. Even if you feel you don't have any relevant experience, I can help find ways to link experiences you do have to the passion and skills you need to display. - Suggest activities to complete (books, podcasts, online courses), which can give you more to talk about in the personal statement and interviews. - Refine drafts and suggest what to cut/add to meet the word count criteria. - Do a final spelling and grammar check - it's always easier for an outsider to spot mistakes like these. - Speak about any open day experiences I've had and give my personal advice for university.
