Hey I'm Carys I grew up in France for 15 years and I am looking to share my language skills French & English

Perfect! We started our lesson on a positive note, but I had technical/sound issues with my laptop. Carys did not stop there, she quickly took the initiative to use our phones to converse and compensate for the sound interruption on the internet.

Carys is a dedicated French tutor. This was just a practice and introductory lesson, but she took her entire time to get me started. When I told her that I wanted to speak French by having conversations in different areas, she immediately got me some text matter in my field of interest. She knew exactly where I stood and at what level I was. I am not an outgoing person and for me words don’t flow easily, but Carys got me engaged and making-an-effort to speak in a manner that I had not experienced before.

I feel that I am going someplace and with Carys as my tutor I will be able to learn the language, spoken and written hopefully within a couple of years. In my quest to learn French, which I feel confident already, I hope to continue my classes with Carys.

Perfect! Carys doesn't so much teach French but gives you a French experience. Her language knowledge comes from growing up in the country and going through the education system but as a native English speaker she can explain the idiosyncrasies of French better than a a fluent English speaker from France.
Carys is extremely dedicated and goes the extra mile and half to make sure the student is getting everything they need from a lesson. She tailors lessons and homework exactly to the student's needs, for example my requirements were to be able to speak to trades people. More than anything else Carys makes lessons fun, I've never laughed so much learning a language, and that is definitely a big reason why my French has improved so much over the last six months. Highly recommend.
