About Demi
Hello!
I'm Demi, I grew up in Manchester and have lived here all my life. I became a dancer at 8 years old and then a dance teacher in my teenage years. This is where my love for teaching began. I had the most fun teaching young children dance and taking them to competitions. The best part was coming back home with a huge trophy!
I now have two boys myself whom I adore and I treat all children as I would my own. Children bring me the most laughter and joy. I have recently been working as a supply primary school teacher for the past 6 months and enjoyed every moment. I miss daily interaction and learning in the classroom which is why I would love to meet new pupils and continue teaching throughout the summer.
I am professional and reliable, you can always count on me!

My approach to teaching consists of beginning with a non-academic talk. I like to ensure that the student is in a positive headspace before diving into the lesson.
My teaching pedagogy consists of using creative approaches to entice learners by incorporating their current interests into lessons, utilising technology and thinking-based learning.
The typical length of a lesson will last 30-60 minutes depending on the lesson required.
I have recently became a qualified primary school teacher and have two years experience tutoring students in KS1-KS3.
My lessons are designed for primary aged children from KS1-KS2.
