I would first try to understand what level of the language are you at . Whether you are at primary level ie you don't know the language at well or you are relatively new to it . My approach would be to strength basic and move you to second level.
If you are aware of the language and just want to strengthen it - my teaching would involve alot on words n vocabulary building , explaining origin to remember tough words
