About Henry
My passion for singing began at a young age as a chorister in my local Abbey Choir. I later completed three ABRSM Grade 8s in singing, piano, and music theory. During my time at Durham, I trained with the prestigious Samling Academy in Newcastle, where I had the privilege of learning from world-class opera singers and coaches, deepening my expertise in classical singing and opera performance.
Now based in London, I continue to pursue my love of classical singing alongside my teaching career, offering private tutoring in singing, music theory, and piano accompaniment.

My sessions are tailored to the individual needs and goals of each student, adapting to their preferred singing or playing style. Having learned from my own teachers, I strongly believe that a solid technique and good breathing are essential for effective singing and performing.
By listening to each student's goals—whether they aim to improve stage presence, acting, confidence, or technique—I strive to support them in the most effective way possible. I also believe that online learning can be just as valuable as in-person lessons when it comes to music.
