About Moa
I am 31 years old and come from Lund, sweden. For most of my life I was considered to be bad at maths. 5 years ago I decided to realize my secret dream of studying a technical base year and moved to Luleå. Since my math skills were at the level of a middle school student, I had to work hard, but it was worth it! I read books on study techniques, took an online course called "learning how to learn" and started meditating. All of this took me to where I am today, I now started my 4th year on the most math and physics intensive programme available at LTU.
I believe that everyone has the potential to be good at maths and physics, what is required is the right aids and a good study technique. I now hope to be able to pass on everything I have learned so that more students have the opportunity to exchange math anxiety for curiosity and self-confidence!

I work online with video where I can share my screen, explain concepts and solve tasks. I will continuously ask questions and ask the student to solve tasks with me so that I can see the reasoning and pick up any eventual gaps in knowledge. For me, it is important to teach a deep understanding of the subject, the basic building blocks, and the genuine interest.
Until a few years ago, I was "bad at maths" myself, in high school I chose to attend the social studies program and I just barely passed the maths. I want to pass on everything I've learned about study techniques and the cornerstones that build both self-confidence in the subject and the genuine knowledge that will take you further than the next exam!
For a year, I have helped two friends in mathematics and physics online. It gave me a lot of practice in teaching as well as insight into how different people learn best.

Moa är toppen! Superbra på att fatta vad det är som man inte förstår och förklara det så att man förstår. Hon är engagerad och pedagogisk, kan varmt rekommendera henne.
Moa förklarar väldigt tydligt och kan förklara samma koncept på flera olika sätt. Det blir väldigt tydligt att hon har en mycket djup och genomgående förståelse.
Förutom att hon är mycket tålmodig och pedagogisk så är hon också riktigt bra på att göra det kul att lära sig!Moa kan mycket matte och kan förklara komplexa begrepp på ett enkelt sätt. Hon ger inte allt på en gång utan hon får en att jobba sig fram till svaret vilket gör att man kan lära sig effektivt och snabbt.
