About Alwande
I am a South African young adult. I’ve lived in Ghana before and have traveled to many places around the world. Through I’ve grown to love Politics and International Relations and at school this required me to perfect my English language especially when it came to essays, creative writings, speeches and public speaking. I have a deep passion for helping others and I think tutoring is one of the ways where my passion can flourish.

You are allowed to mess up! English is not an easy language but it can be so rewarding to finally understand something you’ve been trying so hard to get. I am a good listener and I prioritise working at a pace that ensures that all your needs are met. I teach children who barely understand English, and to finally watch them understand a topic or a word or a concept that seemed so foreign to them is such a reward. I truly love to help people and I believe that both the teacher and student can learn and grow with each other!
