About Mia
I have taken many honors/AP English classes myself and I have found methods that work best for me and my students to understand certain lessons better. I am particularly strong in analyzing literary texts, which is an aspect of English classes many students struggle with. The preparation that you would get from my sessions does not only help with school classes but with future standardized testing and essay writing.

I use methods of teaching that are easier to understand and are adhd/dyslexia friendly. A typical session would include: reviewing what the student learned in school, retracting the material, and doing different exercises to help the student understand more of the lesson.
