Hi! My name is Isabela, and I’m a high school senior with a strong passion for English and helping others succeed. I’ve always enjoyed reading, writing, and explaining things clearly, and over time, I discovered how much I love tutoring. My teaching style is simple, but effective! I use real examples, explain things in everyday language, and make learning feel natural, not stressful. Here's what I focus on: - Breaking down grammar into easy-to-understand steps - Helping with essay writing, paragraph structure, and editing - Expanding vocabulary through conversations and reading - Practicing pronunciation and speaking clearly - Helping with homework, assignments, SAT prep, test prep, college essay editing, & etc. A typical lesson plan includes: 1. Quick review/warmup - go over last lesson or start with a small activity 2. Main focus of lesson - grammar, writing, reading, or speaking 3. Practice time - working on exercises, editing writing, or doing speaking drills 4. Wrap up - review what we covered and set up goals for next time
