About Julia
I am a student at Westlake High School. I've taken advanced Latin for three years and will be studying AP Latin my senior year. I've excelled in English for a long time, and I've earned a perfect score in the English section of the ACT and a 35 in the Reading section. I've also won an award from the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards for creative writing.

Being a student myself, I take an understanding and kind approach towards tutoring. I have many different resources in order to practice and explain concepts to students, including ACT Prep books and Khan Academy. I make sure that the student understands the concept and is comfortable with the content before we move on to another topic, and I'm always willing to provide constructive criticism for writing essays and other English assignments.
