About Jessica
I am a high school student aiming to major in English literature in uni. I hold high grades in English and Social Studies consistently, and I have experience in tutoring peer classmates and younger students as a volunteer. I have experience working as a Coordinator for Kid's Camps as well.

I base lessons on both what a student is learning at school and any topics they have personal interest in, and so all my classes are tailored for each student. I believe that students should have input on what they are learning and how they learn, and that there should be high accountability between parents and teachers of young students. To do this, I offer Student Reports as well as Parent Input Forms so that parents can also have input on what the student learns.
For students between Grades 1 to 7, I offer well rounded lessons that consist of new vocabulary, reading comprehension and analysis of articles or short stories, poetry analysis and reading, and both creative writing and essay writing.
Each week, a student can expect to have a new vocabulary list, reading comprehension assignment, and a writing assignment. Parents can expect a short report of student progress and lesson plan.

Details
$20 is what I charge for a basic one hour lesson, but for $25 I am available for 24/7 questions or extra homework/schoolwork help for up to one hour extra per week. If extra tutoring is required for more than an hour, it will be counted as 2 lessons that week ($40). At this time I rarely do in-person classes.
