About Daryl
Hi, I'm Daryl. I’m a highly qualified, native English speaker from London. I'm a friendly, expert and enthusiastic teacher. Working together, we can raise your English to the next level.
I have a PhD, a Masters (Distinction), a University of Cambridge BA and three teaching qualifications (a TESOL CELTA, a TESOL Diploma and a PGCE in English and Drama). I’m also an accredited examiner for International English as a Second Language exams.
Your lessons will be structured around exactly the aspects of English that you need to learn. In each lesson you will have lots of opportunities to speak and/or write, and receive my expert feedback. Then we will focus on specific grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and style points in the rest of the lesson. After the lesson, I will create self-study for you that will consolidate your new learning and I will often give you feedback on this before the next lesson.

I've been teaching for over 15 years and I've enjoyed helping innumerable students to make rapid progress with their English language skills.
My approach is student-centred so your lessons will be both effective and enjoyable. I am flexible with timing and your lessons can be as long or as short as you want.
In our first lesson I'll listen to what you want to achieve, and then I'll design lessons and self-study which will target your specific grammar, vocabulary, and functional language needs. This way you will soon improve your fluency, accuracy and confidence with English so that you can attain your goals and fulfil your ambitions.
In our lessons, I can help you become more fluent and more successful in many areas such as Conversational English English for travelling or working abroad ️Exam preparation of all kinds, especially IELTS, Cambridge B1, B2, C1 and C2 University entrance and coursework Accent Training ️
