About Terry
I am from the UK and live in the south by the sea. I have lived in Brazil and Mexico, but my Portuguese and Spanish are not too good! In my spare time, I love to walk the dog, cook and go climbing. I have been told by my colleagues and students that I am always professional, my classes are dynamic, I'm friendly and always on-hand to help.

The IELTS exam tests all four skills, reading, writing, speaking and listening. I teach each of these skills either individually or as a complete course. I was the lead IELTS teacher at the British Council, where I worked for more than 10 years. My materials give you a step by step, hands on practical approach to preparing for the exam, whether it is the academic or the general. My classes are typically 1 hour, although they can be longer or shorter if the student requires. To take the IELTS exam your level of English needs to be B2+/C1. I have the DELTA, TESOL AND TEFL qualifications as well as a diploma in Life coaching. I have spoken at many events as well as taught the IELTS to teachers wishing to become IELTS teachers.
