About Nick
I'm a hard-working high school student at one of the most challenging schools in the nation and am eager to spread my proficiency in reading and writing. I have learned to read deeper and write wittier from some of the best teachers. I have been fascinated by reading and writing ever since I read "The Cat in the Hat" at age four. I enjoy reading and writing so much that I worked as an online volunteer tutor for two years, and received wonderful compliments from my students.

I take a very hands-on approach in my tutoring sessions, so no boring and drab slide show presentations! Instead, I like to actively engage my students with important questions when examining literature or learning writing strategies to make sure they have a strong understanding of everything I teach. My goal is to make learning and improving these important skills easier because I know learning can appear overwhelming at some points. My lessons are for anyone that is interested in learning or improving their reading skills and creative/informative writing skills. My sessions are tailored to the student's level and skills, so all are welcome!
