About Chelsea
I love to read and write. I grew up loving words, and I was writing stories as early as seven years old. Now I love to help young people learn how fundamental it is to read and to write. I've always been a lifelong reader and lover of books.

As a tutor, clients have said I'm "kind, amazing, and made my son love to read." and "great." My lesson plans include letter recognition, sight words, reading aloud, reading comprehension, and phonics.
When teaching writing, I teach the importance of story planning,story mapping, doing research, and the various makings of a paragraph or an essay. I also teach kids to write what they feel as it is a good practice of mindfulness and mental health check-in as well.
