About Erin
I hold a BA from Central State University and an M.Ed from the American College of Education in the field of history. I have taught at the college level for over three years and have extensive experience in tutoring spanning over ten years. In addition to my work as an educator, I am also a published author of historical events, an archeologist, and a collector of antiques and antiquities. I am also a board member of the Kankakee Valley Historical Society where I give educational tours and seminars on local history.

History is a subject you either love or love to hate. For me, history is not only a passion, it is my career which I have enjoyed bringing to others through teaching, published writings, archeological digs, and beyond. I understand that not every student feels this way which is why I am here to help you reach your educational goals by tutoring in historical and archeological theory, research, writing, or whatever your historical needs are. As a college instructor, I mostly work with students seeking bachelor's degrees, though I also tutor students at the high school level as well. My lessons are engaging and educational with each lesson plan designed for the individual learner.
