About Sophie
I have always loved teaching and watching students gain confidence in their abilities. I have a great passion for history and literature! I have tutored multiple students in H English and History, both receiving A/B grades. I also have tutored primary school children in English. I am confident working with learning difficulties at all age levels.

While tutoring English at N5/Higher Level, I would first work out what the student’s weak points are and go from there. I offer a take on Close Reading Papers and also Set text (poems etc.) that allows students to approach their answers like using building blocks to ensure they are getting every mark possible.
