About Rachael
I am a postgraduate law student with an undergraduate degree in History and a postgraduate degree in Law. I have previously worked within the classroom as a teaching assistant up to GCSE level in Geography, History and English working with students of varying abilities. Since 2019 I have worked as a private tutor in History up to University level and also English and Politics up to A-level.

I am an experienced History and English tutor and am experienced tutoring students from year 4 up to A-level. I have worked as a tutor since the beginning of 2019 and have previously worked as a classroom assistant in a secondary school for 3 years, within the role I worked with students of varying abilities in English, History and Geography. I currently have a History and a Law degree and am completing my masters in Law.
I offer a flexible approach which is specialised for each student. For students focusing on exam preparation, I incorporate past papers with tutoring on the topics for the exams to ensure that students feel confident in both their own knowledge and in what the exam is asking of them. I am experienced working with students with additional needs and am able to tailor both session length and delivery to suit those needs. Typically I tutor lessons lasting an hour - two hours though this is something that can be adapted and discussed to suit the student.
