About Imogen
Dedicated History and PRV teacher at Leighton Park School, Berkshire – I am proud to have contributed in our recognition as the Independent Schools Association Senior School of the Year. Leading as a senior resident boarding tutor and House Clerk of Bentsi-Enchill House, I prioritise a nurturing environment. Active in the Women in Leadership network, I advocate for diversity and inclusion across workspaces and curriculum. Innovatively, I’ve crafted contemporary schemes of work, ensuring alignment with the latest historical discourse. Additionally, I initiated a yearly Women’s History Month competition, fostering engagement and awareness. As coach of the senior basketball team, I emphasise teamwork. I have also worked with the #ThisGirlCan campaign to get young girls active in different sports. I completed two ECT years, previously teaching History at a Catholic all-girls and brother school in Plymouth. Eager to make ongoing contributions to education.
I can teach IB History SL, GCSE and IGCSE history along with KS3 History!
