About Zubin
My name is Zubin Burley. I am currently on a merit-based scholarship from The Honourable Society of Gray's Inn for my undergraduate studies in History and Politics at the University of Cambridge. My passion for tutoring comes from growing up in a family of teachers who taught me the power of education. Having attended the highly oversubscribed Newham Collegiate Sixth Form Centre, I know the habits and resilience it takes to apply to prestigious universities whilst maintaining the required grades for entry. Through my interest in social action projects, I specialised in education policy during my time as an adviser for the Mayor of London's Violence Reduction Unit. With both an impressive academic record and practical experience I am able to offer a unique tutoring/mentoring experience which spans Oxbridge applications, scholarships and of course subject tutoring.

I tutor GCSE and A-Level students for hour-long sessions. I follow a methodology of starting with knowledge acquisition, followed by revision methods and finally targeted testing. For Oxbridge preparation I can support with selecting courses, personal statements and interview preparation.
