About Ben
I am a history student at Durham University. At A level I did Maths, Geography, History and an EPQ, recieving 2 A*'s and 2 A's. I am also an experienced English tutor at GCSE and KS3 levels. I have been a tutor for over a year, which has given me some great experience about what methods and lessons work best. I believe tutoring is most valuable when the pupil is engage and participating frequently and practicing skills introduced in lessons. As the saying goes, practice makes perfect. I am conscientious and understand tutoring can be daunting at first, and will ensure the pupil feels confident to share what they are struggling with.
I tutor History and Geography from KS3 to A level and Maths and English at KS3 and GCSE.

I try to help the students put what they have beenintroduced in lessons into practice. I believe tutoring is most helpful when the student can recieve personalised input based on the questions they have tackled with me. I find topics often make more sense when working through them so I tend to prefer to do practice questions with the student then just bombarding them with information.
