A qualified and enthusiastic History teacher and Head of Faculty, I have over 11 years teaching a variety of GCSE and A level courses, including AQA, OCR, and Edexcel. I have consistently achieved `Outstanding` GCSE results and, having worked closely with AQA, understand the specific skills that are required to reach grade 9 (A*) results.

I believe in helping learners to understand the key concepts of History, so that they can apply this knowledge within an exam environment. I try to immerse learners in a topic and adapt my teaching methods so that they suit the individual’s needs and abilities. I am very aware of the pressures of school and exams and strive to help learners reach their potential without unnecessary stress and anxiety.
