About Maria
¡Hola! I'm Belén, a native Spanish teacher from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I hold an MA in Spanish and Literatures. With more than 6 years of teaching experience, I've taught in Buenos Aires, in Maryland, and in Texas. I start my lessons with a quick warm-up (5-10 minutes), then I continue with grammar or vocabulary (depending on the focus of the lesson), and finally we move on to practice (reading, listening, writing, and speaking). I use authentic materials, interactive activities, and student-driven exercises. Lessons are for beginners, intermediate, or advanced level students. I also teach conversation and Spanish for professionals (health, business, law, education, hospitality).
