About TyYonna
I like to make sessions a comfortable space and experience. Writing is difficult, and I am not some mean English teacher standing over your shoulder. We can laugh. We can get a little off-topic when you're feeling stressed. However, I will try to pull you back into the work at hand once you seem a little more relaxed. This method is something that I've picked up over my years as a writing tutor and a writing student. We're only human, not robots.

My tutoring techniques revolve around your needs. I will always start a session by asking you questions, and this is how we will get to the root of whatever issue you're having. I believe that my experience as a tutor, my creative writing degree, and my willingness to grow are what make me different from other tutors. I don't claim to know the answer to everything, but I will try my best to get you the answers that you need. I typically teach adults of all ages, but I am willing to help younger students as well.
