About Charlene
Hi! My name is Charlene, and I am a Hong Konger currently studying Bachelor of International Studies/Media (Screen and Sound Production) at UNSW. Living in Hong Kong since I was born and only moving to Australia for university in early 2023, I am well immersed in the language and culture. I have always enjoyed working with children, and enjoying sharing my knowlege with others.

I start class with some simple conversations in your chosen language (either mandarin or cantonese). After conversing, we will move on to other aspects of Chinese, including reading, writing, speaking and listening. The typical length of a lesson will be 1 hour (both online and in person).
I have worked as a tutorial teacher in Hong Kong from September 2021 until December 2022, and until today I continue writing lesson plans for the same centre. As such I am very comfortable in working with children. My lessons will suit all beginners up until Grade 9 level.
