About Dave
A human geographer, I am an expert in critical geopolitics, climate geographies, digital geographies, geographies of sexualities, indigenous studies and migration.
Throughout my four-year position as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, I have developed academic writing and teaching skills at a leading UK institution. In 2019 I became an associate fellow of the Higher Education Academy. I am pleased to now offer independent freelance tutoring and editing and have the following website: (concealed information)
I have recently submitted my Ph.D. on emerging geopolitics in UK broadcast comedy. This was supervised by Professor Gavin Brown and Dr. Ben Coles. I am currently employed part-time as a Research Associate at the University of Leicester. This is a multi-disciplinary project on Mutualistic Cities, led by geologist Professor Mark Williams. My role is to develop a survey and literature review.
