Imperial College PhD graduate + 5 years’ R&D experience in a Cambridge life sciences start-up, offering personalised Biology and Biomedical Science tutoring for all levels

I have known Sunehera since we were both PhD students working in the same laboratory at Imperial College London. During our PhDs, we worked alongside each other and had many opportunities to discuss our research, troubleshoot experiments, and share ideas.
Sunehera is an exceptionally intelligent person and I believe she will be an excellent tutor. What particularly stands out to me is her ability to understand biology at a fundamental level. She does not simply know the answers; she understands the underlying concepts and can break complex biological processes down into their basic principles. I think this is a very valuable quality in a teacher, as it allows students to develop genuine understanding and confidence rather than simply memorising information.
I would highly recommend Sunehera to other Superprof members and, in particular, to students looking for someone who can make biology understandable and approachable.

I have known Sunehera for over 15 years as a peer and have had the opportunity to observe her teaching abilities firsthand. Throughout this time, she has remained actively engaged in the field of Biological Sciences and has demonstrated a strong commitment to teaching and academic development.

Sunehera has taught and trained students across a wide range of educational levels, including school, college, undergraduate, and postgraduate students. She has a particular ability to explain complex biological concepts clearly and effectively, enabling her students to develop a strong understanding of the subject matter. Her teaching approach is both engaging and concept-focused, helping students grasp challenging topics with ease and confidence.

Sunehera and I attended the same uni. She has always been one of the smartest and most academically curious people I know. She has a PhD in biomedical research from Imperial College London and extensive professional experience in life sciences.

Sunehera is an excellent teacher with outstanding skills to explain complex scientific concepts clearly and patiently. She is approachable and always willing to support others, taking time to understand where someone is struggling and helping them build confidence and understanding. She is knowledgeable, confident, and engaging, while also being encouraging and genuinely invested in helping others learn and improve. Her passion for science and research really comes through in the way she teaches. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a supportive and inspiring tutor. I think you will enjoy learning with Sunehera!
