About Julia
Hi, I'm Julia. I am a native English speaker from California. I earned my TEFL certification in Prague, Czech Republic and taught English there for 4 years.
I know how to explain difficult concepts in a simple way that everyone can understand. I love to use visualization to teach. I use colors, drawings, hand signals and gestures to engage my students' senses and improve their understanding.
I use a systematic approach to target the student's areas for improvement. I provide lessons that build progress over time in a way that is fun, engaging, and gives the student plenty of opportunity to speak and practice.
I also specialize in correcting errors during conversation in a way that is non-disruptive and easy to understand.
