About Pauline

I grew up living in different countries (France, USA, UK, Spain, and briefly Costa Rica), and speak 3 languages fluently. I studied foreign languages applied to economics and business (Empresariales @Universidad de Granada, Masters of International Business @ Paris Business School) Spanish in academia is very different to Spanish in the real world, I have had the luxury of learning both. Today, I use my languages professionally in international sales and would love to transfer these skills. As a person, I thrive in international environments and enjoy learning about different cultures. I enjoy spending my free time outdoors (climbing, hiking, running...) and amateur interior decorating.

About the lesson

I have taught English as a foreign language for about 5 years while studying. Levels covered were from infancy to adults. In academia, I like to understand the specific points that students are having trouble with. I am quite energetic and believe in full immersion, so the class will be fully in English, unless there are technical pointers to be clarified (for French and Spanish speakers). I do my best to keep classes engaging, so I prioritise verbal communication, however I must also assess written capabilities. For adults wishing to improve their English skill-set, I will mostly be conducting conversations related to their chosen topic with extra guidance on how to improve their listening skills outside classes too.
