About Racquel
My name is Racquel, and I am an Industrial Engineer who is deeply passionate about teaching and helping others succeed. I am an incredibly hard-working person, and I bring that exact same dedication into every single lesson. For me, there is absolutely nothing more rewarding than witnessing the "lightbulb moment"—that exact second when a complex, intimidating concept suddenly clicks for a student, and their confidence completely shifts. I am fully invested in your growth and will work tirelessly alongside you to help you reach your goals.
When I am not engineering solutions or tutoring, I love staying active and exploring my creative side. I am big into running and staying fit, which keeps my mind sharp, energised, and focused. I also have a massive love for cooking and trying new foods—I look at a kitchen much like an engineer looks at a system: it's all about mixing the right ingredients in the perfect sequence to get an amazing result!
I bring this same balance of high energy, structured discipline, and enthusiasm into our online classroom. Whether we are breaking down technical concepts or practising professional communication, you can expect a warm, supportive, and highly focused environment.
Let's work hard, unlock those lightbulb moments, and reach your goals together. Book your first lesson today, and let's get started!

As an Industrial Engineer with hands-on corporate experience, my approach bridges the gap between dry academic theory and real-world execution. I do not just help you pass your exams or survive your corporate presentations; I teach you how to apply analytical problem-solving tools to drive measurable results.
Methodology & What Makes Me Unique
My teaching philosophy is deeply rooted in my engineering training: efficiency, optimisation, and continuous improvement (Kaizen). I also am incredibly patient and want to see you succeed!
- Goal-driven approach: In our very first session, we map out your specific needs and create a tailored roadmap to solve them.
- The "Theory-to-Factory" Bridge: What makes me unique is my ability to take abstract concepts (like operations research, queuing theory, or statistical analysis) and explain them using real-world case studies from my time working in industry. Additionally, I am able to take highly theoretical concepts and apply them to real world examples, to make solutions far more tangible.
.
Who My Lessons Are Aimed At
Because Industrial Engineering sits at the intersection of technical science and business management, my lessons are explicitly tailored for two distinct groups:
- High School Students & University Undergraduates & STEM Students: If you are struggling with advanced university-level mathematics, probability and statistics, operations research, supply chain logistics, or simulation, I provide the structured breakdown you need to ace your coursework and exams.
- Working Professionals & Corporate Clients: If you are an engineer, project manager, or business professional looking to master Lean Six Sigma methodologies, improve your data analysis skills (Excel, SQL, process mapping), or refine your Technical English for international business meetings, I provide coaching tailored to your career goals.
What to Expect From a Typical Lesson
Every lesson is structured to maximise your return on investment:
1. The Alignment (First 5 Mins): We review your immediate goals for the day and check in on previous concepts/ go through any homework.
2. The Core Breakdown (35 Mins): We tackle the core topic using an interactive, step-by-step approach. If we are doing maths, we solve problems together. If we are doing professional coaching, we run through real-world scenarios, case studies, or mock interviews.
3. The Practical Application (15 Mins): You take the driver’s seat to apply what you just learned, ensuring the knowledge sticks.
4. The Takeaway (Last 5 Mins): We summarise key insights and I provide highly curated, optional practice resources for you to review before our next session.
Languages of Instruction
I am fully proficient and offer all of my lessons in fluent English. I am highly skilled at teaching non-native English speakers how to navigate complex, technical, and corporate terminology with absolute confidence.
