About Autumn
I obtained my Master's degree in Infectious Diseases and Microbiology from the University of Pittsburgh in 2022, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2020. I have an extensive knowledge base in various realms of Biology and Chemistry, including but not limited to, cellular/molecular biology, human genetics, virology, analytical chemistry, and immunology. I am a laid-back person, so feel free to always ask me anything! I love to learn, and I thoroughly enjoy the subject matter I have my background in. My goal is to get the students excited about learning and become experts in their tutoring subjects!

My lessons would be tailored to each individual student and their needs based on how they absorb information best. The lessons are open to a wide range of subject levels, from introductions to cell biology to more rigorous information such as how our adaptive immune system functions and operates. I would foster a tutoring environment where questions can be asked, students feel comfortable, and clear communication about the flow and retention of information is drawn so the student does not feel overwhelmed in the lesson pace or if material is not understood. I would be involved with interactive learning through visuals, study guides, learning games, and others.
