About Chamekir
Hi, my name's Miss Hunte.
I have been tutoring and coaching for two years. I recognised the powerful impact of having mentors and private tutors when I was younger. The positive skills and confidence it instilled in me ring true to this day. I have since been inspired to return the favour, and help provide the same experience for others.
I believe that learning takes many forms, and can show up throughout our lives in different ways. One-to-one tutoring and coaching changed my life. I wouldn't be where I am today without it.

What is your preferred learning style? How could we align revision techniques with your hobbies and interests?
My classes are tailored to you. I incorporate life skill coaching methods in order to help improve confidence, meet targets, and build resilience.
Lessons in a typical school classroom are generalised and restrictive, but my lessons are personalised and creative. Let's think outside the box! I celebrate individuality, and coach for life, so let's make the course specification work for us.
All my classes conclude with a reflection- the chance to give honest feedback, and set a target for the next session.
Typical length of a lesson: 1 hour
What I teach: English Language, English Literature, Singing / Vocal Training, Songwriting, Music Theory (up to Grade 5)
I work for BBC Music (part-time), and have been tutoring & coaching for 2 years. I have also previously worked in media and comms at the Young Vic theatre.
