About Marybeth
Hi there! I have been teaching English for over 12 years. I studied Modern Languages at the Central University of Venezuela in Caracas. I speak English and German. I like to teach face-to-face classes because I believe in the old school method, but I also teach Webcam for student's ease. Classes are always focused on the needs and requirements of the student. Grammar is fundamental in the learning process, but what is most feared is the conversation and that will be a key part of my classes.

I have had the fascination for languages since I was little and over time I have realized that languages are a bridge to new cultures. Once I was a student and I have always liked to teach the way I would like to learn. So, I focus a lot on pronunciation through exercises in grammar, reading, writing and above all oral expression. I teach for all levels, and also for very specific objectives: IELTS, TOEFL, English for specific purposes, British English, University. Classes for adults and / or teenagers.
