About Abbey
Teaching philosophy ♡
I am deeply guided by the peaceful and grounding teachings of Hridaya yoga and meditation leading us to the heart, combined with the sharp and fiery purification of Kundalini yoga. My journey has also deeply woven in teachings of the feminine and earth wisdom, reconnecting us to the earth of our body.
I have certifications as a 200hr Hatha, Vinyasa, Hatha and Yin teacher, KRI Kundalini Yoga Level 1 teacher, Hridaya Hatha Modules Level 1 and 2, participate in regular Hridaya silent meditation retreat ongoing practice and have certifications in Naturopathy, sound healing, Integrative Womb Hara practice and InnerDance facilitation.

My classes are inspired from an extensive exploration of various lineages of Yoga with an ultimate respect for the beautiful teachings I have come into contact with. I aim to support you in your journey in whatever way that looks, to be attuned to your needs and meet you at whatever level you need. I am guided to bring a sense of fulfillment, direction and expansion to the individual.
Teaching styles
ૐ Kundalini and hatha combination -
With a focus on meditative, breathwork, energetic postures and mantra practice, a combination of the fiery kundalini with grounding hatha, classes are aiming to take you inwards beyond the mind, to clear the energetic channels and reset the systems of the body.
ૐ Power
I love curating power-based physical classes to improve muscle tone, strength and target stabilizing muscles. Mixing the lengthening of yogic stretches, with power yoga dynamism, and pilates inspired movements.
ૐ Yin
Nourishing slow flows and sound journeys, perfect in the evening, candlelit, for softening, recovering and recharging.
ૐ Flow
A fluid balanced flow practice bringing in an awareness of the transition between postures in a vinyasa style. A balance of movement and softening. A nurturing practice to the mind and body.
I can tailor classes to private lessons or groups, either one off sessions or where we work for a period of time within a framework, or towards cultivating something in particular. I am very open to hear your needs and creatively work with it.
Classes can run from 45mins - 1hr45.
Lessons are suitable to people of all levels.
