About Ilaria
I am a final year student in biomedical engineering. Before moving to London for university, I attended a linguistic high school in Padova, my home town. There I studied English, Spanish, Russian and of course Italian, my native language. I am very passionate about languages, as I'm convinced of the fact they allow us to overcome social barriers.

My teaching method is based firstly on modelling. I think, especially when learning languages, it is crucial to have an example from the teacher as a starting point, so students can properly understand what they need to do. The intentional use of mistakes is also really important, this method allows students to practise their skills by identifying and fixing the mistakes by themselves.
