About William
Hi! I am a student at the University of Pennsylvania with a passion for standardized test preparation. I self-studied for the ACT and took it once, earning a 99th percentile score the included a perfect 36 on the English section. I have experience teaching this test and I am very flexible in my teaching methods. I have a deep understanding of how the test questions are written, and so I know how to guide away students from being tricked into the wrong answer. Additionally, I know of a number of strategies that can help maximize a student's score on the test no matter how much knowledge or preparation they have going in.

My lessons are extremely flexible and can focus on the test as a whole or on one of the specific four sections of the test (English, Math, Reading, and Science). I can help students walk through specific questions on each of these sections, or I can discuss general test-taking strategies that can apply to every section. Furthermore, outside of the session, I can prepare specific questions or question sets that focus on certain concepts that a student wants to target (for example: exponent rule questions in math, or author's main point questions in reading).
