About the lesson

Hi, I'm James.

I am currently a medical student at St Andrews university. At 32 years old I'm a mature student and have plenty of life experience behind me. My former career was in the Fire Service before pursuing my medical studies.

In order to gain a place at medical school I undertook a number of qualifications, achieving distinctions in both an Access to Medicine course which covered all aspects of A-Level/Higher content, and a Pathway to Medicine course, predominantly at HNC level. This has resulted in a broad and comprehensive knowledge base of Biology & Human Biology/Anatomy. I'm passionate about what i do and would love to help others who wish to pursue their goals be it Medicine or otherwise.

I have teaching experience within an international school, as a summer job. Also previously active in peer to peer learning.
