About Gavin
I recently moved to New England from Tacoma, WA. I have a bachelor's degree in Ethnomusicology and an associate's degree in jazz performance. I have a strong interest in various world music genres which has only improved my drum set vocabulary. I have taught professionally for over a year.

My teaching method is patient and involved, I like to make my students feel as comfortable as possible. Music is a part of life and not something that needs to be learned in order to be successful at. I hope to inspire students with book lessons as well as extensive listening activities.
