About Sohan
Hi, I’m Sohan Sarkar, studying B.Tech in Computer Electricals Engineering at JMI, New delhi, and I’ve always been passionate about learning and sharing knowledge. My journey through school was filled with dedication, challenges, and self-growth, which shaped me into the person I am today. Academically, I’ve excelled, scoring 95% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) in my 12th CBSE board exams. But beyond the numbers, what truly defines me is my love for teaching and my desire to help students succeed in both academics and life.
As someone who faced academic struggles early on, I understand the importance of determination and effective study methods. In 9th grade, I found myself distracted by gaming, which affected my studies. However, I quickly realized the importance of discipline and focus, and with hard work, I was able to turn things around, scoring 90% in 10th grade and 95% in 12th. This personal experience allows me to connect with students who may be struggling and guide them through their own academic challenges.
I’ve always believed that teaching is about more than just textbooks—it’s about building confidence, fostering curiosity, and inspiring students to achieve their dreams. I aim to guide students not just academically but holistically, sharing my experiences and helping them overcome both personal and academic hurdles.
In my free time, I love playing chess, a game that has taught me the importance of strategy and patience—skills I often incorporate into my teaching methods. I’ve even competed at the state level, winning several awards, which adds to my ability to mentor students in balancing academics with other activities.
Looking ahead, my ultimate career goal is to work in the tech industry, specifically at companies like Google or Microsoft. But along the way, I am committed to giving back to students who are in need of guidance, support, and motivation. I want to help young minds not only succeed in school but also prepare them for their future endeavors in higher education and beyond.
