About Sonali

Hi, I'm Sonali! I'm a Journalism and Mass Communication graduate from Kolkata, with a genuine love for reading, writing, and helping others communicate clearly. I've spent years working with content and long-form writing professionally, which gives me real, practical insight into strong writing — not just textbook rules.

I'm especially passionate about helping students navigate big writing projects like dissertations, where structure and clarity can feel overwhelming, and about building genuine reading comprehension rather than surface-level skimming. I bring patience and a calm, encouraging approach to every lesson, especially for students feeling pressure around exams or deadlines.

I'd love to help you build real, lasting confidence in English — let's get started!

About the lesson

My teaching method is built around your specific goal, not a fixed syllabus. For reading, we work on comprehension, vocabulary building, and critical analysis of texts. For writing, I focus on structure, clarity, and grammar — whether that's essays, professional writing, or long-form academic work like dissertations. For test prep, we target the specific format and skills your exam requires, with focused practice and timed exercises closer to your test date.

A typical class starts with reviewing your current work or goals, followed by focused practice, and ends with clear, practical feedback you can apply immediately. I explain the reasoning behind every correction, so you build lasting skills rather than one-off fixes. My classes also suit university students working on dissertations, professionals wanting sharper writing and reading skills.
