About Olivia
I have recently graduated from the University of Bristol with a BaHons in English Literature. I’m also starting a Masters degree in September. I’m a kind, patient and encouraging person. I have worked with and cared for children of primary and secondary age, including some care for special needs students. I’m reliable and organised, and will maintain a professional relationship whilst gaining the trust and respect so that my students feel confident to confide in me about their academic difficulties.

I’m attentive, organised and will adapt our lessons to your needs. I will use online resources so we can share notes for your spare time, and I can personally mark writing done during our lessons. I have extensive experience in childcare, so I’m open to home visits, as well as our online lessons. I will personalise our lessons to exercise your strengths as well as weaknesses in the subject. I have done volunteer tutoring for late secondary school and university students, particularly in essay writing technique. I have worked in a classroom as a personal assistant with a year 5 student, and I will be most successful tutoring from this age and onwards. I have fresh knowledge of gcse/A-Level techniques and tips. I also hope to help build my students confidence when it comes to their ability and approach to exams.
