About Rachel
I have been a KS2 Primary teacher for 2 years, teaching full classes and small groups. I have taught children with a range of academic attainment, particularly with EAL, SEND and SEMH needs. My enthusiastic, patient and encouraging manner helps children be the best version of themselves and find joy in their learning. I also have a personal academic background in History, and have developed strong writing skills up to postgraduate level.

I believe that a friendly, encouraging learning environment is key to helping children develop self-confidence in their learning. As well as academic skills, I also make sure every child develops their ability to be kind to themselves and others. My teaching methods are suited to the individual child and their needs, from building core skills to challenge beyond age-related expectations.
