I am Mrs. Deanna, your Partner in Literacy & ELA Success. As a structured literacy-trained tutor and neurodiversity advocate, I bring evidence-based reading instruction to life with clear, systematic methods. About the lesson

In these 60-minute, one-on-one sessions, early readers bridge the gap between spoken words and written text using explicit, systematic Science of Reading methods. Lessons focus on phonemic awareness, phonics, and orthographic mapping to help young learners build strong letter-print connections and reading confidence.
Format: Interactive 1-on-1 virtual instruction
Parent-First Model: Guardians manage all bookings, consultations, and progress updates to ensure strong family-tutor partnership.
Technical Requirements
To use our interactive digital workspace via Pencil Spaces on Superprof, students need:
A desktop, laptop, or tablet (smartphones are not supported)
A stable, high-speed internet connection for real-time video and interactive whiteboard tools
Policies & Scheduling
Availability (Eastern Time Zone)
Monday – Sunday: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM EST (Subject to holiday schedule adjustments)

Scheduling & Cancellation Policy
To guarantee every student receives dedicated focus and a consistent routine, time blocks are reserved exclusively for your child and cannot be filled on short notice.

Late Cancellations: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will incur a 100% session fee.

Late Arrivals: Arrivals past 15 minutes are considered a "no-show" and will be billed in full.

Standard Hourly Rate: $20 per hour

5-Hour Lesson Pack: $100

Free 30-Minute Consultation: Your very first 30-minute introductory session is completely free. This allows us to meet, discuss your learning goals, and map out a customized plan before you commit to a full lesson.

Lesson Delivery & Materials
100% Virtual (Webcam): All lessons are conducted online via webcam at the standard $20/hour rate.

Travel Fee: $0. Because all instruction takes place in our secure digital classroom, there are never any travel or commuting costs.

All-Inclusive Materials: The hourly rate covers everything. You will never be charged extra for curriculum design, digital learning tools, or downloadable practice resources. Everything we need for our sessions is provided at no additional cost to you.
